Polifarma SpA announces the BLEFARETTE brand’s purchase

Through this acquisition Polifarma SpA intends to strengthen its offer of ophthalmic products with a dedicated portfolio for the main eye diseases.


Rome 02/01/2020 - Polifarma SpA, present in the ophthalmic market since 2017, announces that it has concluded the purchase of the BLEFARETTE brand from Farmigea S.p.A.

With the acquisition of this range of products, already distributed by the company, Polifarma SpA intends to strengthen its portfolio in the ophthalmic area.

This action for Polifarma is a further confirmation of the intention by the Property to consolidate their assets by strengthening and guaranteeing the company an increasingly solid future.

With BLEFARETTE, the culture of ophthalmic cleansing began to spread to the ophthalmologists. A few years after its birth, the brand has won the trust of most Italian ophthalmologists.

The BLEFARETTE line includes the following packs:

  • Blefarette 30 disposable wipes
  • Blefarette Med 14 sterile disposable wipes
  • Blefarette Sensitive 20 disposable wipes
  • Blefarette Baby 30 disposable wipes
  • Blefarette Mask 6 disposable masks

This acquisition will allow our company to enhance the entire range of products and consolidate their use by ophthalmologists. In addition it will increase the possibility of entering the foreign market thanks to a wider and more complete offer.
