Polifarma S.p.A., an Italian pharmaceutical company, has been there for health professionals and health organisations since 1919, sharing the healthcare and quality of life of patients, with a culture based on key factors such as passion, integrity and transparency.

Absolute transparency with the publication of these data is the choice that drug companies have made with full conviction, by adopting the Farmindustria Disclosure Code, in implementation of the EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) Code.

Collaboration, which has been very well regulated for a long time, between drug companies and doctors can be divided into various fields of activity:

  1. Research and development of new drugs through clinical trials performed in hospitals, universities and public and private health facilities;
  2. Scientific advice;
  3. Seminars and scientific conferences, which offer information and updates;
  4. Support for congresses and CME (continuing medical education) courses organised by public organisations, universities, scientific societies and accredited CME providers.

The exchange of knowledge between companies and doctors, with their wealth of knowledge and experience in the field, allows the collection of useful information for research and development and, therefore, being able to have increasingly effective drugs available for the health needs of patients.

These relations, in addition to being governed by national and international regulations, are based on mutual respect for roles in Farmindustria's transparent framework of professional conduct rules, which set strict controls carried out according to precise instruction procedures by third party organisations, presided over by magistrates appointed by the President of the Court of Cassation.
On June the 30th of every year, the data related to the collaboration between Polifarma S.p.A., the Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and the Healthcare Organisations (HCOs) will be available on our website.

You can access the data - published in full respect of the Italian Data Protection Act - related to individual professionals who have signed consent and, in aggregated form for all others.

The information outlined in this EFPIA form of value transfers publication reflects our commitment to meeting the requirements laid down by the EFPIA code on the transparency of value transfers and its transposition to the Farmindustria Code of Ethics.

In order to ensure compliance with the privacy regulations, published data will not be indexed on search engines.
